Welcome to Golden’s Bridge Hounds

Golden’s Bridge Hounds has been carrying on the time-honored traditions of fox hunting since 1924.  Founded by noted hotelman, John McEntee Bowman, a tract of land between Golden’s Bridge and Brewster, NY, was registered in his own name (”Mr. Bowman’s Hounds") with the Master of Foxhounds Association of America.  A few years later the name was changed to “Golden’s Bridge Hounds” and remains recognized by the MFHA today.  Our fixtures include varied terrain of thick woodlands, rolling hills, farmlands, waterways, and open fields, providing every opportunity to see our hounds work. Famed for their beautiful voice, Golden's Bridge Hounds is home to a pack of award winning Penn Marydel Foxhounds.
